The band evolved from the remains of PENTHOUSE who had been around the local scene since 1990 having been formed by guitarists Dave and Jo, with Martin joining the band in 1993.
In 2000 the band decided to move away from performing hard rock covers and with the change to a female vovalist included lighter material. The bands name was changed and STORM was formed.
Gav joined the band in 2002 and his powerhouse style saw the band start moving back towards hard rock.
Sue came to the band in 2005 with a background in rock music and we have continued down the rock covers path.
In early 2007 Jo decided to take a break from playing and the band decided to continue as a 4 piece.
The band are all rock music lovers which dictates the selection of song. The aim is to please all rock loving audiences with male and female rock covers.
The band work hard at trying to perform the songs as close as possible to the original tracks and playing songs that rock lovers will like.
In late 2007 Sue announced that she would like to take a break from the busy schedule of gigging most weekends which left the band in need of yet another vocalist.
